The Word of God is our spiritual nourishment, our source of truth, and the foundation of our faith. Through the Scriptures, we learn of God's love, His promises, His righteousness, and His wonderful plan of salvation through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The prophet Jeremiah declared:
"Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts."
Jeremiah 15:16 KJV
The psalmist testified:
"Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage."
Psalm 119:54 KJV
And the apostle Paul instructed believers:
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."
Colossians 3:16 KJV
